So who's excited about Android then, and why?

smile.gif

Second question, should MoDaCo spin off an android community?

Will I be able to install Android on one of my Vario II's? I am assuming someone will make sure that I can? If so I would definitely like to see a Android forum. Might even put it in my C550 if possible.

If i'm honest I'm a tad sceptical about the potential success of android at the moment, though i'm fully prepared to stand surprised

I do think a spin-off of modaco for android would be great, and I think would be a great help in making android a success story

Yes ... have an android arm. Either within Modaco ... so have:

Windows Mobile Professional (PDA Touchscreen phones Phones)
Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphones)
Android

Perhaps could then integrate other Mobile OS's too at a later stage.

OR ... have it totally apart from modaco, but linked in like EEEASY!

I dont know what to expect from Android ... BUT if Chrome is anything to go by, then theyre going to have one fantastic phone OS.

I think it would be good if we have a small team to create a MoDaCo branded Android.
