So I have been paying £22.99 per month for my calls and broadband from Pipex (plus £11 per month to BT of course). I get a 2Meg service and 3000 mins of calls.
Having set up a Small Business Server 2003 R2, I decided to get a fixed IP address so I could host my own emails in the exchange server. I rang Pipex who told me that I couoldnt get a fixed IP address with the current service and that I would have to upgrade. So I was put through to retentions who without any sort of discussion offered me up to 8mb, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited calls and a static IP address... for £12.99 per month - on a one month rolling contract! So £10 less per month for faster adsl AND a static IP AND unlimited calls! -------------------- Touch HD runnign Dutty's latest rom

So £10 less per month for faster adsl AND a static IP AND unlimited calls! Result I had a similar experience with BT last week (Yes- you heard that right!); having been on the BT Business Broadband service in my practice since it was introduced, at £35 per month, I decided to try and get a reduction. Rang BT and asked for a MAC code so I could move to Pipex who charge £17.99 pm. Immediately offered capped 10GB service at 8mbps for £15 pm. As I've never used more than 3GB per month I jumped! Apparently BT have only just started offering this retention deal, so worth a try if anyone else is paying too much and out of contract. -------------------- NeilM: Site Moderator and Reviewer on 4WinMobile
