Wasn’t sure where to post this but I’d imagine this is as good a place as any.
Was having a think last night; my contract is due to expire on 9 January so I was going to call on 9 December to cancel. Then I got to thinking; if I’m looking to bargain a good upgrade, am I better doing it over the phone or instore? I was thinking of upgrading to the Touch HD (though as I’m with Tmob that’s a no go) or the G1 I was wondering if I’m likely to get a better deal because I’ve been a customer for 12 months or would I more likely be better going through a new contract altogether? What do you think? Do you find the people instore are more likely to care and try to help or am I better off bargaining to the voice?? Appreciate any comments -------------------- Google holds all the keys.....

Try both...
O Retail often do a deal where they give you about £150 credit for your old o phone... (which can be any O simlocked handset)... plus good deals - whereas Retentions can sometimes really improve the contact deal.
