Hey. I have OS X installed on my Advent 4211 by the msiwindosx86.iso method,
I have a Dell 1490 card installed.

OS X recognises the card, but it cannot find any networkss...
do you know what could be the problem?

Ok:

Did you remove the standoff when you installed the card?

When you enable WiFi, are you doing it both with the Fn Keys so the light comes on, and also using the WiFi icon on the status bar?

I know they are noddy questions, but useful to establish a baseline.

Yes, I removed the standoff with ease.
The card is turned on by the Fn keys and the light is on, and wifi is in the menubar.
I can turn aiport on, but it will just not find any networks >.<
