iPhone 3GS speed comparison

Mobile Choice has been running a speed test on iPhone across major mobile phone operators to see which one came on top in terms of the fastest 3G speed.

The conditions were all the same, a central London location with full 3G reception on each handset.

What a very unscientific test!
One time, one location and relying on someone to press start and stop on the stopwatch at the right time?
Pity they didn't try T-Mobile and I would have preferred to see results from speedtest.net run multiple times.

With 12 year old kids knocking out apps for the iPhone, surely they could have come up with an app that ran the same speed test every 10 mins on each phone for 24 hours and reported that!!
