I'm thinking of buying a new desktop that can comfortably run games like WoW, Oblivion, CS:S, and CoD4. Oh and Starcraft 2, of course. My friend recommend this deal for Gateway FX7026, how do you guys think? for that price, worth to buy? any other good suggestions?

I'm pretty nitpicky when spending money, so bear with me.

Yup pretty good spec, should run CS:S and CoD4 nicely. I don't do so much gaming these days, but a gaming forum I use is www.trickery.net ... they might be able to confirm the spec for you.

There's not much info on that page you linked to (unless I missed something) but going by Gateway's website

http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668058.php

You might run into some problems with the 64 bit OS (eg unable to get some hardware working due to lack of drivers, some software not being 64 bit compat). Also, the mouse looks likes it's wireless? Maybe they just Photoshop the wire out to make it look good but anytime I've used a wireless mouse I've always noticed a slight lag, its ok for general use but for FPS games "it could mean the difference between life and death"

Nice rig though, it would be easy to install a 32 bit OS if you did run into problems anyway.
