Hi all

Just got a VX recently but its vodafone locked. Does anyone know of a free way to unlock it? I used to have a tool that could unlock nokias (you entered the imei and model of the phone and it gave you an unlock code) anything exist for moto?

thanks for any help
gR

PS- Voda refuse to unlock it even thought I'm with them over 4 years on bill!!!

Most recent motos require removal of an rf shield to get to the testpoint to enable them for flashing. Market stall type unlocking people use dremmels to make a hole for speed rather then de-solder the shield - voiding any warranty as it's plainly obvious it's been chopped open.

There may be a way in future to calculate the codes like nokias but none I know of currently.
