Hi All,

I'm really tempted to get an EEEPC. Initally I wanted the 8G model due to the extra storage and extra memory.

I've read that the 4G can have upgraded RAM and you can put SSD into the MiniPCIe slot. However I have also read that the newer batch of 4G's do not have the miniPCIe slot. If this is the case, where can I get a 4G version with the miniPCIe slot.

Also what is the best way to add bluetooth capabilities to this device? Id prefer not to do soldering, but would like a solution where I didnt have a usb stick hanging out the side/back of the laptop!

Ideally what I would like to achieve is a EEEpc with SSD storage, extra ram, and bluetooth!

Thanks in advance!

Ebays your best bet. Make sure it is a 4A. I ended up with a 4C and had to go with a 16gb sdhc card instead

There are bluetooth usb ad ons that sit almost flush on the eee, around £18. Will wasily fit into the provided cse with it on. (Mine is in permanetly)

Brilliant thank you for the feedback. I've been investigating further, and I think that Id rather get a new one over one on ebay and have to stick with SDHC instead.

I shall hunt down the 8G or a 4G ... whenever some sites get them!
