?25 a month for 8mb ADSL via BT (not LLU) and 25% off your Voda calls and 60 mins of free landline calls per month.

Pretty average deal so far but then they throw in "Given this is a mobile firm, you might be surprised to hear it's offering a mobile USB modem at ?58, which apparently is half price, so customers can log on on the move."

Does that mean mobile USB modem as in it logs on via the Vodafone network so you get mobile broadband data on your laptop for only a one off cost of ?58? Surely not!!! There has to be a data charge in there they aren't telling us about, doesn't there?

Answering my own question now.... how depressing.

The mobile modem will be subject to a data charge of ?29 a month for 3G access. No W'n'W on the way afterall. mad.gif
