What a cliffhanger though smile.gif

Hammy was a worthy championship winner in terms of consistency and excitement throughout the season; Massa was magnanimous in Champoinship defeat unlike the crowd. Good work was done by all.

Trust Lewis to put us through the mill like that though - think I'm gonna need a stiff drink and a lie down after all that stress! tongue.gif

Yeah I've been thinking the same thing for the past week or so with 9 out of 10 posts being Omnia related! biggrin.gif I agree though, seriously good phone - particularly with the TouchFLO 2D installed.

Well I've broken my own record for my shortest mobile phone contract - 1 day - with Vodafone.

Ordered my Omnia and it arrived yesterday...all well and good. That's until I rang Vodafone to give them my PAC code to transfer my number from T-Mob. Not sure if Voda are living in the dark ages or not but I was told quite abruptly that I couldn't transfer my number! Apparently I should have entered my PAC code on the website when I ordered....and because I didn't I now can't. The only way to transfer my number is to cancel my contract, send the phone and SIM back then re-order and enter my PAC during the order process.

Now I've never had any trouble transferring my number (been with T-Mob, Orange and O2 - this is my first experience with Vodafone) always calling the network with my PAC code once I've received the Phone and SIM. Anyone else had this trouble with Voda before? Don't think I need to say it but this will be my last dealings with Vodafone so it's off to O2 for the Omnia then! tongue.gif

Just checked it on Norton Safe Web: http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=modaco.com
-It's fine!

search-you-need.com has a rather different outcome: http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?name...ch-you-need.com unsure.gif

Yeah I checked that on the Safeweb site earlier which was the reason for the original post on here. It seems whatever it was Paul has sorted it as the alerts have stopped. smile.gif

you are using norton...what do you expect? they rarely get anything right

just to add I don't get any warnings using Kaspersky

Well Norton has never alerted me before and I was using Modaco just last night with no problems. All of a sudden - today - every page I open on Modaco (or Mobiholics) I get the same alarm - there's got to be something in it as all other sites I visit don't bring up these alarms...

Hi Paul,

I've started getting security warnings from Norton Internet Security this morning when viewing any pages on Modaco (no other websites). The alert refers to "HTTP Malicious Toolkit Variant Activity" and it originates from "search-you-need.com - 55.65.234.77:80". Not quite sure what is happening but could you shed any light on this? Very strange! huh.gif

Ferrari lodged a complaint with the stewards as they believed McLaren used a tactic that was against the rules - overtaking them! tongue.gif

Typical Ferrari favoritism from the stewards and the FIA. From watching that on-board footage (and from what I saw watching it live) it was quite clear Lewis gave the place back - Kimi was simply too slow and was out-braked into turn 1. I've signed the petition of course.

As for the "drivers must use only the track" rule then half the field should have been given penalties - even Massa ran wide off the track when the rain started.

On a seperate note.....after watching the on-board footage I can't believe how little Lewis lifted off through Eau Rouge on the slippery track. That was breathtaking!

Have a look at this

Not strictly a WM device I know, and probably doesn't work outside of Japan. Not something that would easily slip into the pocket either! It runs Vista (now I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing) tongue.gif

Now I thought the Vario II was massive when I first took it out of the box - I'd imagine you'd look like a right spanner with this thing stuck to your ear! rolleyes.gif

from CPW and O2 tomorrow allegedly anyone else tempted?

I did for a moment rue my recent S620 purchase, then realised that I could never buy into the apple corporate thing.........

Not tempted in the slightest! iPhone is under-specced and over-hyped. Nothing would make me part with my iPaq. Well, maybe the SonyEricsson X1 perhaps tongue.gif

Thats what I said the to retentions guy.

It was all very pleasant - I was not trying to bargain a better deal out of him and he fully understood why I was going and we both understood that there was nothing available to him to offer me that would come close to keeping me.

Oh well. C'mon O2 and Vodafone, fight for my custom!

Forget about O2 unless you want unlimited mobile dial-up internet! tongue.gif T-Mob are the only players at the moment with the mobile data - O2, Voda and O must have lost a load of custom over this.

I binned Orange back in February and never looked back - W&W is fantastic, no problems with signal (apart from some remote bits of blighty in the middle of nowhere) and the FlexT allowance just goes on and on - I still have yet to use all my allowance up in one month. I will n
