I've got the old web'n'walk (limited to 40 meg) on an unlocked SPV m500 (which comes with spb gprs monitor). I use opera browser to limit amount of data and the only time I got close to exceeding it was when I tried out a third party push email application and it used up over 2 meg a day. I have also noticed that spb gprs monitor always overestimates the amount of data I'm actually logged as using by t-mobile. I'm sure, however, that when I receive my m3100 and unlock it for use on T-Mobile HSDPA, that the sheer speed will automatically mean I will be able to download more in a given time and hence send my data usage much higher. Web'n'Walk is not restricted as regards Internet access: however no voip as you say - also if you want to use phone as modem, you'll need Web'n'Walk Pro bundle. Rumour has it that Orange are now offering similar package to Web'n'Walk at ?8 pm Regards Simon Clark Businesss Telecoms |

I spoke recently to a T-Mobile Customer services person, who assured me that, yes, before the price goes up to full price (month 10), I could indeed change to a Flext tariff. He also reckoned I could change down to a lower value tariff than I'm on (I'm on Web'n'Walk 400 - full price ?55). Regards Simon Clark Business Telecoms |
