Try both...

O Retail often do a deal where they give you about £150 credit for your old o phone... (which can be any O simlocked handset)... plus good deals - whereas Retentions can sometimes really improve the contact deal.

So I would see what both offer you before deciding.

No... you lot lose!

Its sat at home running sbs 2003 and hosting all my media and my email... pushing it out to my diamond etc, and I have thus cancelled my 4smartphone account. That £85 saving per year combined with Pipex halfing my monthly bill and throwing in a fixed IP address - saving me £10 per month, means that the £200 or so total outlay is paid for in one year.

I just need to find the best cheap server AV offering...

I win...

I bought an HP ProLiant ML110 G5 - Micro tower - 1-way - 1 x Dual-Core Xeon 3065 / 2.33 GHz - RAM 1 GB - HDD 1 x 250 GB - DVD±RW (+R double layer) - Gigabit Ethernet - for £94 four weeks ago from Insight. Amazingly they sold out the 250 they had in stock at that price in 24hours.

I am sorry but I simply do not believe anyone thinks sending money to these "companies" is a good idea.

It takes about ten minutes to get verification about things such as the companies record at companies house, the directors, the filing of accounts, a search on their premises etc.

And who deals with a company who use a Capital Letter At The Start Of Each Word?

So I have been paying £22.99 per month for my calls and broadband from Pipex (plus £11 per month to BT of course). I get a 2Meg service and 3000 mins of calls.

Having set up a Small Business Server 2003 R2, I decided to get a fixed IP address so I could host my own emails in the exchange server. I rang Pipex who told me that I couoldnt get a fixed IP address with the current service and that I would have to upgrade.

So I was put through to retentions who without any sort of discussion offered me up to 8mb, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited calls and a static IP address... for £12.99 per month - on a one month rolling contract!

So £10 less per month for faster adsl AND a static IP AND unlimited calls!

Good luck. If you do receive something, make sure that they are really 1) Iphones and not chinese knock offs, 2) 3G and 3) Unlocked.

A picture of a warehouse with a photoshopped company sign on... combined with an address of a residential property...

Agreed, not conclusive though. Hamilton was carrying far too much speed and would have crashed without the run-off area. If he had followed Raikonen through the corner he would have been 3 to 4 car-lengths behind. smile.gif

Absolute rubbish. Hamilton would have safely made the chicane except Raikkonen lifted off his brakes to try to protect the corner and in doing so he hit hamilton who had successfully turned right in good time to miss the left hand kerb. Rather than rub drive wheels or break front suspension, Hamilton then elected to turn left to avoid further contact.

Oh and for what its worth I am an ex-director or Brands Hatch Leisure and Silverstone Circuits Ltd and have been a race licence holder for 20 years and have officiated at 1000's of race events.

Ferrari gained an advantage when they released their driver nearly into another car last time round... and yet no time penalty.

Lewis gave the place back but cos his car isnt red... he gets penalised...

The only reason that the Office2003 your mate "gave" you won't install is because its either hooky or he has already installed and activated it.

As has been said before, use Office 2007 and then save your files as "powerpoint 97-2003 files" etc etc

And as for Vista not connecting to your school wlan, Vista is compatible with all the different encryption types that your school will be using

I have recently been immersed in the world of macs and have come to the conclusion that they do everything just about OK - other than creative stuff which they totally excel at.

But if you live in any world other than a graphic design/video editting/music publsihing etc one, then they cannot compete with pc's.

As already mentioned, low def can look really rubbish on "cheaper" high def tv's.

I cannot believe that a goodmans freeview box is going to give a very good pic and the electronics inside the tv need to try to artificially fill in the gaps... and unless its a really really good tv, then it isnt going t manage.

I am afraid you get what you pay for and you will need to wait til all the channels are hd to really b happy - about three years I am afraid.
Oh and as the visitron has built in freeview, make sure you aren't watching through the goodmans when you dont need to.

Cos with a permanent "h" icon you don't actually know where you do and dont actually get H...

I know the other networks offer H wherever there's 3g but with O, its handy to be aware of the places where H works.

No. You will see 3g until you start using it then it will "throttle up" to H if its available.
