Alright BoyZ Sorry i haven't been around lately but yoo no been busy lol So anyways - does anybody know hw to change your I.P address ?? Just reply with any ideas - I jus read leaving internet off for 8 hours works but i'm unsure - so just let me knw Thanks It depends on what type of internet connection you have, and more specifically, if your isp give you a dynamic or static IP, without knowing more about why your doing this only general advice can be given, but you could try using a proxy if its anonymity your interested in, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_server |

Squall... - Go to an AT&T store - Ask for a GoPhone SIM, which will cost you $25 with $25 credit - Get the SIM activated in store - Put the SIM in your phone - Dial 611 - Select the option to add MEdianet unlimited for $20 for 1 month - Configure your GPRS settings And you're done! 1 month flat rate HSDPA, and $5 credit left for calls / SMS too P PS Yes, i'm going to start collating this info in a special area in the wiki when I return from hols! Your a star, thanks ever so much! |

Be careful if you are taking laptops, PDA's or data to the US. They now have rights to confiscate laptops, and copy ALL your data. If it is encrypted, they also have rights to demand your keys. Ensure you only take data with you, that you are happy to put on display! Oh my! I guess this deal does not apply in the US, the US is not one of the countries listed on the website. Besides would i be right in thinking that data coverage there is still pretty poor? Im off to washington and san fran in june for a week or so, but Washington in October for 6 months. Im going to need to sort something out phone wise, i have various unlocked SPVs and the like, and an N95 on the three network. I figure the N95 is not going to be a winner, any ideas on the best deals for a 6 month stint in the US, mainly for calls to other US numbers but also data access so i can get access to my emails, either as a modem or mobile data would be great. Ash, paul, good knowing your both still here! ian |

theres no need for that, everyone is welcome here! Just try to keep posts on topic and everyone can play nice Many members work hard to get a good post could by posting to help people, and can get annoyed when they see people who they feel have been posting off topic things. |

being lazy i havent read all this thread, but does anyone else think its just silly that its projected that in the not to distant future 50% of school leavers will go to uni? No way is there enough skilled jobs to justify that huge number. I would rather see 25% going to uni and 25% doing apprentiships or similar. Ive seen it from both points of view, being an apprentice who went onto uni. |

i installed it after realising there was a problem, but the virus still managed to fire off lots of messages. I tried an earlier version of the app which crashed my pc, new version seems fairly stable. |

standard bubble wrap would do more damage than just putting it in a cardboard box! Id visit maplin or similar, get the proper stuff. All that said static tends not to damage devices anyway, but if it does go wrong and you dont follow electrostatic handling guidelines and procudures you are left liable |
