I think he was lucky in the end, but it's almost as if the Toyota let him through. My wife- who is not into motorsport at all- said the same at the time I think it was genuine though- looking at what happened earlier in the season to those on the 'wrong' tyres! Just lucky the heavier rain started when it did |

Are you sure you disabled ALL the connections? Most devices have a WAP connection (My Work Network) set up for the MMS channel to use, as well as the Web connection (My ISP, or Internet)- it may be that something was trying any available connection? |

Thanks Paul, no idea how I managed to change it, that other mode seems worse than useless! I'm not sure if you did change it Same thing happened to me yesterday and I definitely didn't change anything. A Ctrl-F5 cleared it. The whole site had been crawling since Monday morning, though better yesterday; today no problems at all, and speed back to normal! |

Yes, I kinda expected that all the posts would have at least been deleted as soon as a Mod noticed Was surprised to find it all still there this morning with more content having been added overnight. I've just removed 200 of these from the last 24hrs Thought Paul may have closed the forum while the cause was investigated, but will keep checking for new ones. |

I haven't put anything in and wasn't logged in either! It was like this last night at around 1am but I thought it was just a glitch. I'll log back out, take a screen shot and then post it back here. This has been reported in the Staff Room and Paul is aware of the problem |

So I have been paying £22.99 per month for my calls and broadband from Pipex (plus £11 per month to BT of course). I get a 2Meg service and 3000 mins of calls. Having set up a Small Business Server 2003 R2, I decided to get a fixed IP address so I could host my own emails in the exchange server. I rang Pipex who told me that I couoldnt get a fixed IP address with the current service and that I would have to upgrade. So I was put through to retentions who without any sort of discussion offered me up to 8mb, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited calls and a static IP address... for £12.99 per month - on a one month rolling contract! So £10 less per month for faster adsl AND a static IP AND unlimited calls! Result I had a similar experience with BT last week (Yes- you heard that right!); having been on the BT Business Broadband service in my practice since it was introduced, at £35 per month, I decided to try and get a reduction. Rang BT and asked for a MAC code so I could move to Pipex who charge £17.99 pm. Immediately offered capped 10GB service at 8mbps for £15 pm. As I've never used more than 3GB per month I jumped! Apparently BT have only just started offering this retention deal, so worth a try if anyone else is paying too much and out of contract. |

I hope the appeal is successful, but this is turning into a farce now. If the appeal is allowed to proceed Technically this was a 'drive through' penalty, and these are not allowed to be appealed. McLaren have to go to the FIA Court of Appeal who will initially decide if they are permitted to appeal before proceeding. Even the 'giving back the place' issue may be irrelevant if the stewards stick to the letter of Rule 30.3a 30.3 a) During practice and the race, drivers may use only the track and must at all times observe the provisions of the Code relating to driving behaviour on circuits. as LH patently used more than just the track (as did just about every other driver in this, and other races) Nice result list from a US site, Patronise US: Race Result after 44 Laps 1 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:22:59.394 2 Nick Heidfeld BMW Sauber + 9.383 3 Lewis Hamilton** McLaren - Mercedes + 10.539 4 Fernando Alonso Renault + 14.478 5 Sebastian Vettel Toro Rosso - Ferrari + 14.576 6 Robert Kubica BMW Sauber + 15.037 7 Sebastien Bourdais Toro Rosso - Ferrari + 16.735 8 Mark Webber Red Bull - Renault + 42.776 9 Timo Glock* Toyota + 1:07.045 10 Heikki Kovalainen McLaren - Mercedes + 1 Lap 11 David Coulthard Red Bull - Renault + 1 Lap 12 Nico Rosberg Williams - Toyota + 1 Lap 13 Adrian Sutil Force India - Ferrari + 1 Lap 14 Kazuki Nakajima Williams - Toyota + 1 Lap 15 Jenson Button Honda + 1 Lap 16 Jarno Trulli Toyota + 1 Lap 17 Giancarlo Fisichella Force India - Ferrari + 1 Lap R Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari Hopeless R Rubens Barrichello Honda Useless car R Nelson Piquet Jr Renault Useless driver * - Given 25 second penalty for overtaking under yellow flags. ** - Given 25 second penalty for overtaking. |

Well it seems to be a black Astra according to the sighting I heard of in Brum and both references in this article. I'm assming it's the same car as you never seem to get two sightings in the same day from different areas. One thing to think about is that St. Augustines is permit holders only so I guess they're employing local people to do the driving Well at least the GM page of Street Sightings shows that there are at least 5 different vehicles- all black, but some Vauxhall and some Opel |

I logged into my orange account online and all the plan change options have only 2 months unlimited web browsing under the 'more details' section. Whats this all about, how do I get it for good? If you have updated your account to Dolphin 35 or upwards, you get up to 500MB of anytime Mobile Internet access for the life of the contract. The 2 months Evening/Weekend is an error (or at least that is what applies to plans that don't include the full Anytime access); I've just gone through this with CS, and have had it confirmed that my plan will be 'Unlimited' from my next billing date. |

You should be able to go into your Online Account and look for the Change Service Plan option. The new tariffs are now listed alongside large 'stars' saying Unlimited Mobile Internet. You do need to update your service plan to get the new services, but if you want to stay on the same level, you will need to speak to CS. Service Plan updates don't take effect till the next billing date, but Bundle changes take effect after 24 hours, so don't select a new service plan and cancle the OWA30 data immediately or you may find yourself with a large data bill |

They are now advertising the new plans on site- any plan of £30 per month or more has 'unlimited' mobile internet. I rang to ask what that meant and was told there was a FUP of 500MB, that the plans were for new customers only at present, but would be available for the forseeable future. Mobile access only (ie no tethering), no streaming and no VOIP. No WM devices on the phone list for the plans available, but apparently Diamond is about 2-3 weeks away and may well be included at a charge. All current phones, including 'premium' ones are free on these plans except N95 at £30 and an exotic Nokia at £200 |

many thanks guys hey neil wil u be able to help with some of work as my submission date is 1st may and i need to do Literature review and i needed some help with this and how u should go about doing this. my initial title was 'media services on mobile phone networks' but my 2nd supervisor did not understand project terms so said u should have a title in a form of a question which u r trying to find out, like ending with ? mark. so i changed it to 'what is gender perferences of using mobile phones?' also il be talking about media services/mobile tv etc in the report. any help or pointers would be much appreciated. cheers. Sorry, but my field is pretty specialised to a branch of medicine; I'm in private practice most of the time but teach/tutor one day per week. Your supervisor has left it a bit late to suggest changes (or have you responded late? |

Presumably a seller could still leave a 'Positive' feedback, but put negative comments in the text box if needed? We'd just need to get used to reading the actual comments a bit more |
