Paul mentioned this last week. I think its some time this week. Perhaps there should be some sort of calendar for win mobile when we can all check on what's going on in the world of win mobile? (not that this would strictly count as being on that calendar but you get what I mean!) Cheers Phill |

I had the same thing. I was trying to post my news thread on Sunday night and it was just going so slow. I tried in ie and in firefox, both the same. I definatley did not click through with google, I came straight to the site. Again all seems well at the moment but on Sunday it was a right pain! Cheers Phill |

It got me on the roundabout on the a1 at Borehamwood, I think its stirling corner, a couple of weeks ago. Oooh Diss. I was there yesterday, well I think I drove through. I had to go to Gt Yarmouth, Kings Lynn and Norwich police stations! Should have stopped to say hello and have a cuppa. Could have done with it I was knackered when I got home! Does google mention anything about when the images will be online? Cheers Phill |

Hamilton got forced off, came back on in front, relinquished the position and then took him again. Seems fair enough to me. But that doesnt help make Ferrari win does it!? Cheers Phill |

Hi guys I was wondering if some kind fellow could help me with cleaning up some code I use for listing items on ebay. Its not groundbreaking stuff, but I have been using it for a number of years now, mainly with internet explorer. However I have just seen that my ebay auction goes completley screwed when I view it in firefox, which I dont want, and while I can see basics in HTML, I really cannot see whats going on. If you want to look my ebay auction is here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=009 Have a look in IE and it looks fine, look again in firefox and you will see what I mean. If someone can pm me as I dont really want to be putting the code out for all and sundry to look at, and help me with it it would be most appreciated. Thanks Phill |

Id go for an HP any day of the week. And no its nothing to do with the fact that I am HP accredited and can make sure that the laptop is reliably repaired should it ever go wrong. (that is the repair is done by myself!!!) Over the years the three makes of Laptop I would recommend are HP, especially as they normally give 3 years warranty, or at least they did, Toshiba and IBM, now Lenovo. From experience, Dell are not bad either, especially the business/cheaper end of the market. There are new players on the market and like everything out there they take their time to become good, for want of a better way of putting it. I think the best way to gage a decent laptop is a) how decent the spec is for the money and Its worth remembering the last point as its not like a pc where if the sound stops working, you just fit a new soundcard. If the sound stops working on a laptop (and its not software related) you either do without sound or else you (99 times out of 100 anyway) have to swap out the whole mainboard. Hope this helps. Cheers Phill |

From what I recall, there was an all in one device that Linksys made. You literally plugged in the sim card and you were away. I seem to remember hearing linksys are going to be no more soon so might be a relic if nothing else now! Cheers Phill |

I have used at least 4 different usb sticks, all are new (in last year) I have tried the method stated and a couple of downloads which say they automatically make the drive bootable and then to load! Tell them you are going to the insurance ombudsman unless you get some sort of resolution in x amount of time. Explain to them (in writing) everything you have told us and leave the ball in their court. Its a bit like the whole bank charges situation at the moment. You can either go to the county court to deal with it, or indeed use the ombudsman. Writing often solves things though. Speaking to an uninterested call centre person doesn't always, certainly if its not in their script! Hope this helps Cheers Phill |

It's been 2 years since the Think Rich Pinoy group has applied Kiyosaki's principles (among others) in the Philippines. I'm sure you're curious what results the group has so far. Why not attend their seminar. Just google Think Rich Pinoy to know more. Thanks! Anna How did you guess. I've been so so curious about this! Its wonderful news!!! [/sarcasm] Cheers Phill |

T-Mobile signed me up to T-Mobile's SMS services for customer services as I am deaf, but I didn't know they are offering it to general public. Does that mean then that T-mobile do sms and data packages only? Or do you still have to shell out for voice calls, which I can only assume if you are deaf are useless? Cheers Phill |

Just out of interest, I wonder if they could do something like HSBC do with bank accounts in that if you were to move countries you can take your phone/contract with you over to that country should your operator have a network there. So for instance, if I were to go to Orange in France, take out a contract for the iphone there and then say I am moving to the UK, it would be legal right? In Euroland I have no idea, I mean I always thought that bananas were supposed to be bendy but euroland says otherwise!!! Just a thought though! Cheers Phill |
