Ok, its the return of "beery's too lazy and or stupid to look it up online technical question" time.

todays question is:

whats the complicated (or really simple) maths to work out the effective range of a radio transmitter, think along the lines of mobile masts

i know the power of the signal but cant remember how to calculate range from power

im trying to remember if you have anything else to change but ics and making housemates use your laptop as the gateway should do it

I am back, and this time full of sugar!

paul, it sounds like you missed me smile.gif

I dont recomend haribo lite, the main ingredient is 'bulking agent' which cant be healthy, it should be sugar, glucose and then more sugar

i think the next poll will be moawm - which is better, stripes, squares or the other ones!

the all knowing me (im awsome) has the answer!!!

ok, the worst reference you can get from an ex employer is "yes, Beersoft did work her from $startdate to $enddate, as a drunk/programmer/teaboy".

so you should be ok, i wouldnt worry about it, as if they have got to the "yes, unless he's talking bobbins about working for suchandsuch" all the reference needs to be is "yep, he worked here"

the zune 1.1 installer works fine on my vista 64ultimate mediacenter thingy, but saying it worked perfectly the first time might be due to the goat sacrificed to the hardware gods
(it also worked on vista business on the craptop)

the zune software is better than itunes (it didnt eat my mp3 collection and b0rk things)

ohh, so many things and such a small box to type them all in wink.gif

1) 4 people answering the phones isnt enough, and im sure i've spoken to the cleaner at some point

2) itemised data billing - "you have used some data" i say prove it to me

3) how about some unlimited data for us who dont want to spend £50+ a month on line rental

4) certificates, installing ones from geotrust, in a "its signed by geotrust and its a updated root cert" see this http://www.msmobilenews.com/page/1441/

5) being last to release servicepacks for phones, but push email doesnt work unless you pay the right people to sign the exchange certs

6) stop charging for itemised call billing or make your website work even when there are items over 28 days old on it

7) Stop making asshat ideas become reality, if it sounds stupid in your head its going to upset the great unwashed (the punters)
